Vatican Raises Important Global Trade Issues at World Trade Organization Ministerial Conference

The World Trade Organization (WTO) holds “ministerial conferences” every two years and just completed “MC9” in Bali, Indonesia.  Many now of the only because of the famous 1999 “Battle in Seattle,” an international protest against the corporate model of globalization that has had devastating effects on the economic justice, labor rights, the environment and democracy the world over.
