Union Women Help 'Spread the Word' About One of the Leading Killers of Women

For American Heart Month, the Coalition of Labor Union Women (CLUW) is teaming up with the Spread the Word campaign to increase awareness about the overlooked symptoms of coronary artery disease (CAD), one of the leading killers of women worldwide. The campaign also is designed to inform women of testing options that help spot CAD early and improve medical outcomes. CAD kills more women than all cancers combined but is harder to diagnose among women than men.
