You may have heard of the State Policy Network (SPN) think-tank groups, but did you know SPN and its state affiliates are major drivers of the American Legislative Exchange Council's (ALEC's) anti-working families agenda? According to a new in-depth investigation by the Center for Media and Democracy and Progress Now, SPN not only drives ALEC's corporate agenda but also has deep ties to the Koch brothers and a national right-wing network of funders.
