Richard Ravitch Looks Back Over Accomplished Life and Offers Solutions for the Future

Joined by his friend and colleague AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka, Richard “Dick” Ravitch spoke May 12 at AFL-CIO headquarters in Washington, D.C., about his book, “So Much to Do,” sharing personal anecdotes and proposed solutions to today’s problems. Ravitch discussed his life and other topics, such as budget cuts to early childhood education, unjust firings, and cuts to pension and health care benefits being used as “money-saving” tactics by corporations.
