Meet the Woman Who Embodies MLK's Dream

Grace, dignity and respect. Those are the words that embody Marlene Champion's work as a lifelong domestic worker and caregiver. Champion has been a domestic worker since she was 17. Born in Barbados, Champion came to the United States when she was 30 to make a better life for her children. Later in life, Champion has worked on many campaigns advocating for domestic workers on the local, state and federal levels.
