Join University of Maryland’s Labor History Wikipedia Edit-A-Thon

April 29, 2015

In 2013, the AFL-CIO donated the George Meany Memorial Archives from the National Labor College to the University of Maryland's University Libraries. That history of the AFL-CIO is recorded in 40 million documents packed in 20,000 boxes, taking up six miles of shelf space. This Friday, May 1, University of Maryland educators, students, workers and volunteers will tap into some of that massive collection for a Labor History Wikipedia Edit-A-Thon at the Hornbake Library on the College Park campus or remotely online.
