Infrastructure Week Is the Perfect Time to Remind Congress That We Need to Invest in Our Safety and Prosperity

May 11, 2015

Today marks the launch of the third annual Infrastructure Week, sponsored by more than 80 labor, business and community organizations that are teamed up to make sure that America's infrastructure gets much-needed upgrades in order to maintain public safety and to make sure we have the roads, bridges, railways and other vital parts of our economy. Events will be held across the country this week, including an advocacy day where working families and their allies will talk to legislators about making sure we have the funding to upgrade our infrastructure to make sure we're safe and prepared for the future.
