Boston Passes Strong ‘Trust Act’

On Aug. 25, Martin J. Walsh, the mayor of Boston, signed the “Boston Trust Act,” one of the strongest such ordinances passed to date to protect immigrants from being unfairly targeted under the terms of the federal Secure Communities program.
