Arena Football Players Join AFL-CIO

The Arena Football League Players Union will join the AFL-CIO after its Board of Player Representatives voted unanimously to affiliate with the 57 unions and 12 million members of the labor federation.  The Arena Football League, which began operations in 1987, now has 14 teams and is looking to expand into China.  The union represents about 350 players, more than 90% of the league's players.
