142,000 Jobs Added in September, Unemployment Rate Remains Unchanged at 5.1%

The U.S. economy added 142,000 jobs in September and unemployment was unchanged at 5.1%, remaining at the same rate as the month before, according to figures released this morning by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
