Lending a Helping Hand in Washington, DC

The Children of Mine Youth Center in Washington, DC received some unexpected, yet entirely welcome, assistance on October 27th when volunteers from the "Helmets to Hardhats" program, International Union of Painters and Allied Trades (IUPAT) District Council 51, the Community Hub for Opportunities in Construction Employment (C.H.O.I.C.E.) and the United State Coast Guard, lent a hand to help re-furbish the center's physical structure.
